BRITTANY RICHMOND

CURATOR & WRITER

Brittany Richmond is Associate Curator at the Savannah College of Art and Design Museum of Art (SCAD MOA) in Savannah, Georgia. Since joining the museum, she has organized more than 20 exhibitions, working with artists such as Farah Al Qasimi, Danielle Brathwaite-Shirley, Cao Fei, Rachel Feinstein, Jónsi, and Mika Rottenberg, among others.

Previously, she held positions at Performa, the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation and the Victoria and Albert Museum (The V&A).

Her writing has appeared in exhibition catalogues, books, and magazines, and she has presented her research at academic conferences internationally. In 2017, she received the Henry Moore Institute Essay Prize.

Brittany holds an M.A. in Art History with distinction from the Courtauld Institute of Art and a B.A., cum laude, in Art History and Psychology from Barnard College, Columbia University.
