MAGGIE ELLIS

In her first museum exhibition, The Ride, artist Maggie Ellis (B.F.A., painting, 2014) presents paintings and works on paper that chronicle the emotional rollercoaster of urban social life. Depicting motley crowds engaged in recreational activities, Ellis offers a glimpse into the daily trials, tribulations, and triumphs of contemporary city dwellers.
